How to use RustRelease™
RustRelease™ is used through dipping.
RustRelease™ works in any dipping container, plastic or metal.
In three easy steps, even the worst rusted steel can look like new with RustRelease™.
RustRelease™ works on all kinds of rusted steel.
Dip your steel into any container with RustRelease™ and let the solution do its work. This usually takes 15 minutes for light rust, a few hours for heavy rusted steel.
Once the steel is dry, it's ready to be shipped out.
How to De-rust Your Motorcycle Gas Tank
- Clean the gas tank out with water.
- Fill the tank with Rust Release Liquid.
- Let the tank sit overnight.
- Pour Rust Release out and the tank will look like new.
Note: If tank is removed, you can use half of the liquid. Just derust one side of the tank at a time.

How do I know when RustRelease™ is used up?

Do parts have to be clean before using RustRelease™?
No, RustRelease penetrates the dirts and oils. However, grease and dirt will decrease the life of RustRelease. It is recommended you clean heavy grease and oil deposits before using RustRelease.
How long will RustRelease™ last?
It depends on how rusty the metal is, but RustRelease™ is extremely cost effective. Usually, one gallon can derust up to 325 pounds of steel, or around 2.9 cents per pound.
Will RustRelease™ harm my paint?
No, RustRelease only removes rust.
